GETTING To War...

From the South through Virginia:  

* I77 South to West Virginia exit 1 for US-52 N toward Bluefield,  Take US-460 W for 20.8 miles through Tazweell.

Turn right onto Rte 645  for 4 miles,

Turn right onto VA-16 into West Virginia.  

** Continue through Squire, Newhall and Cucumber and into War.   Pass Southside K-8 School, and continue through town.

From the East through Virginia:

I81 West to Wytheville, Virginia to I77, See above *

From the North through Ohio:

I77 South, Keep left on I64 East/I77 South to exit 42 to merge onto WV-16 S/WV-97 W/Robert C Byrd Dr to (approx 26 miles) to Pineville, Turn right on River Drive, Left onto WV 16 through Welch and into War.

From the West from Tennessee:

I40 East to I81 North, Exit 14 to US 19 North Through Pounding Mill onto 19 North/460 East to Rt 16, See above **
